Terms & Conditions

By purchasing from us you agree to the following terms & conditions and enter into an agreement with DIY Decorating. Your order is not complete until full payment is made.

All prices on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST. The price you will pay is the price shown on the final checkout page.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if:

  • The materials required to complete your order are out of stock, discontinued or on back order
  • You have ordered from a location where we do not deliver
  • A pricing/typing error has occurred relating to your order
  • We are unable to supply your order for reasons out of our reasonable control

We will contact you in this event to make a decision on whether to proceed with a re-selection or refund.
We will not be obligated to offer extra compensation for cancellations or delays on your order
Installation is the sole responsibility of the customer. We will not be held liable for any part of the installation process.

Special Orders:

If you have a particular style/colour/fabric in mind that we have not listed here, please do not hesitate to contact us via admin@diydecorating.com.au and we can discuss a custom order if possible. Please also contact us for orders outside Australia.

Product Photos/Descriptions:

While we do our best to ensure accuracy in our photos and descriptions, we strongly recommend ordering a sample of your fabrics prior to purchase if you are at all unsure of your selections. Our images are digitally photographed and may have slight editing if it helps show the true nature of the product or fix lighting issues. Our photos may also be produced under different lighting conditions which will also effect the image. Please take this into consideration when making selections.


When we use measurements provided by the customer, we will not be held liable if these measurements are incorrect. Please read our Measuring & Ordering Guide to learn how to properly measure your curtains and please do not hesitate to contact us via admin@diydecorating.com.au if you require additional information.

Changes to Your Order:

If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. As we manufacture your products to order, we can make no guarantees as processing may have already commenced.


Returns will only be accepted for manufacturing issues/errors. We will not accept returns for change of mind, measuring errors, ordering errors or colour differences from your monitor/screen.


Orders will be sent via courier to the address listed in your order. You will be updated by our system via email on the status of your order. We will not be held responsible for delays once your order has left our premises.


We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others and will only use them for purposes relating to your order. If required we will provide relevant information to third parties (such as for shipping) but will not authorise them to use your information for other purposes. By using our checkout or contact forms you consent to us using this information for the purpose of completing your request. Our website uses cookies and collects analytics.
